Our most important ingredient - the dried sourdough starter flakes! This is what makes sourdough, sourdough! The sourdough starter contains the wild yeast that produces bread with distinct sourdough flavours. Simply follow the instructions in the recipe (provided with the Complete Sourdough Starter Kit) or on the recipe section of the site to begin your very own sourdough starter.


No need to wait multiple weeks for a strong starter to develop, using these dried sourdough starter flakes will have your starter strong and ready to make your first loaf of artisan sourdough bread in as little as 2 days!

Shipping+

We charge a flat rate shipping fee of $5 Australia wide for orders of only the starter. The starter is sent in a tracked envelope. Shipping will be calculated for any other items in kit.

Please ensure you double check your shipping address at the time of placing your order. Unfortunately, once a package has been shipped to the address specified by the customer we can no longer accept responsibility for an incorrect address. However, if the recipient sends it back we can certainly issue you a refund or re-post. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

Unfortunately we do not currently offer shipping to addresses outside of Australia.

Dried Sourdough Starter

The Dried Sourdough Starter packet has made my sourdough bread experience easy and rewarding. I have used other starters and was very disappointed and nearly gave up trying to make my own bread. However this starter worked the first time, instructions easy and now make bread a couple of times a week with fabulous results. No more buying bread from a supermarket.

Disappointment with this product, it didn't work.
Followed feeding instructions to the letter.I have made sourdough bread in the past without issues using my own starter wanted to try flakes. Wasted my money and no one answered my calls or msg's
