These beautiful bow handle bread knives are handcrafted by skilled woodworkers using locally sourced wood. Each knife is carefully made by hand, resulting in a unique and beautifully functional piece.

They work a little bit different to a normal bread knife - check out the video of us using the sharp serrated knife on a fresh loaf. Makes light work of a crusty sourdough loaf, and can cut super thin slices compared to a normal bread knife!

Excellent products

I was so happy when I found You Knead Sourdough because all the products are great and the instructions to make the sourdough are very easy. I also like to support local business and living in SA and they use SA flour etc. is even better. I also purchased the masterclass and this was very helpful. I have now made the regular sourdough boule, sandwich bread (my favourite), sourdough discard pizza and sourdough discard crumpets, and yes there crumpet rings are fantastic. If you enjoy making sandwich bread then I highly recommend their loaf tin with lid as it makes a great size loaf, no need to buy store bought bread. They also have everything you need to start your sourdough journey and I look forward to the recipe book, which I have ordered. Happy baking!

At last something made for a left hander!!
Now I can get consistent sliced bread. Not so much for the rest of the family who are right handed!
