Bake up a storm using our non-stick box sided loaf tin. This shape tin creates the perfect sized sourdough loaf to make sandwiches and toasties. Plus due to the smaller size, you can bake multiple loaves at the same time. Even with smaller ovens, baking 3 loaves at the same time is a breeze!

When using the loaf tins, simply pop a tray with boiling water at the bottom of your oven for the first 25 minutes of your bake to help the bread rise nicely and you will have a perfect loaf ready for those weekday lunches (as long as you don't eat the whole loaf over the weekend!).

  • 30.4cm long * 11.5cm wide * 7.1cm high
  • Suits 1000g-1200g dough (the recipe size loaf or a slightly larger loaf. You can scale the recipe up by 20% to fit nicely into this tin).
  • Fridge, freezer and oven safe

It is recommended to use baking paper when placing your dough in the bread tin. Makes it much easier to get out!

Best sourdough starter and flours

I have been using different sourdough starters over the years with varied degree of success but there is no comparison to the strength of the sourdough starter from You knead Sourdough. It is a no-fail and effortless formula that only requires a little patience. Every loaf and pizza base has been beautiful and especially appreciated by friends and familly with whom I share. The wholemeal flour produces a dense and tasty loaf while I often add black kalamata olives to the white loaves to make them more special.

Thanks Josh for getting me back into sourdough. I love your starter kit. I am trying to follow all instructions and doing ok I think. I just need to perfect cooking time. Both of my sourdoughs have been very heavy so far, but quite dark on the outside. Any tips?
