This lame (pronounced ‘Lahm’ which is a French word that means ‘blade’) is as a sourdough scorer - it slices the dough before being placed into a hot oven. Scoring dough helps the bread expand in the oven without the skin splitting randomly. You can even get creative with different scoring patterns in your sourdough bread!
The lame comes with 5 blades. It also has a leather cover to ensure safety when you are not using it/storing it. The wooden handle is comfortable to hold and will ensure a great score on your loaf of sourdough bread!

Well I ordered a starter and white bread flour... unfortunately I added the wrong flour to my starter and fucked it... but my white flour has been amazing to bake fresh bread rolls and bread and a nice soft texture... will be buying another starter to try
