What you’ll need:
Ingredients
- 200g sourdough discard
- 200ml full cream milk
- 150g flour
- 25g grated parmesan
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 5g chopped chives
- 80g melted butter + more for brushing
Tools:
- Waffle Maker
- Mixing Bowl
- Digital kitchen scale
- Spatula
Method:
- Mix all ingredients in a large mixing bowl until combined to form your waffle batter.
- Pre-heat waffle maker and brush plates with butter.
- Use a cup measure or ladle to pour batter in to just cover the iron. Don't go overboard – it will leak out the sides!
- Cook until golden and crisp - a few minutes depending on your waffle maker
- Serve and enjoy!
Hot Tip: These waffles are great for freezing! Allow to cool, then pop them in a ziplock bag and into the freezer. When you’re ready to eat them, pop them straight into the toaster to heat up.
